doom patrol
A superhero group from DC Comics. Founded by Niles Caulder, aka The Chief, the team's lineup typically consists of misfits whose powers alienate them from society; its most notable members include Beast Boy, Robotman, Elasti-Girl and Negative Man.
Starting in the 80's under Grant Morrison, the series took a more surreal turn and began tackling mature themes such as mental health and sexuality.
