The customizable avatar of Xenoblade Chronicles X. They do not actually have an official or default name; the name "Cross", used in Japanese trailers, was mistakenly assumed at first to be official, and is still commonly accepted as the character's unofficial name.
The default male has red-brown hair with a prominent cowlick, while the default female has black hair tied into medium twintails; however, unlike many comparably customizable protagonists, Cross's defaults are not particularly iconic, and nearly all fanart portrays them as artist's or commissioner's original character wearing in-game armor options.
