Ruler of Lindblum in Final Fantasy IX. Engineer who created airships, among them a series named after his wife, Hildagarde Fabool. In response to Cid's infidelity, Hildagarde turned him into an oglop and stole Hilda Garde 1. Later when trying to find a cure, Cid is turned into a frog. He returns to human form when the two reconcile.
