He is an elusive character whose words and actions are a mix of truth and falsehood. He dresses like a student of a bygone era. Despite being a writer who would be expected to see an idealized version of the world, he is very realistic and level headed. He's very attentive to the emotions of those around him. Due to being a liar himself, he tends to notice when others are hiding something or not who they say they are. He took on the name and identity of his older brother who was put into a coma after the purge of the Chuo Ward and seeks justice on his behalf.
