Recurring character of the Final Fantasy series, originating from FFV. Enkidu is his sidekick. Role varies greatly, from enemy to summon to rival to random NPC. Known to carry various legendary weapons, at times from other games in the series; in particular, he seeks Excalibur.
While there are separate characters with this name, the original Gilgamesh is a company connection unto himself, appearing in different worlds by means of the Interdimensional Rift.
