Moe (萌え, pronounced "mo-eh", literally "budding", as with a plant) is a Japanese slang word originally referring to fetish or love for characters in video games or anime and manga. For example, meganekko-moe (眼鏡っ娘萌え), or "glasses-girl moe" describes a person who is attracted to characters with glasses. In modern Western usage, it typically is used to describe a character who is considered cute or adorable.
This tag should only be used for images that reference the concept of moe, not when the image evokes a feeling of moe itself.
