Not quite. And as far as I know Rinnosuke was never described as flying in Curiosity of Lotus Asia either, for some reason. One may believe he cannot fly.

As for flying and levitating, well... in the fighting games what the characters do when they 'fly' is pretty much suitable for this purpose.

He said it himself that he's not into combat stuff & lacks training...that's his case.
I don't know about others like ordinary people in Human Village. I once thought, in Gensoukyou, one needs training in order to fly...just like in Dragon Ball.
