OHKAY THEN. yukari obviously just made it look like cirno is dead so that reimu would finally confess her feelings(again). and thats what i am going to keep telling myself until part 6 comes out.
Lack of comments in the last few pages makes the shock to everyone pretty clear. I feel the same way, too.
This isn't even God Damn It, Yukari! pool. We don't know her motives but that was pretty harsh. Should wonder if Yukari is being a yandere or did it for Reimu and Cirno's relationship. And here I thought this doujinshi, though adorable, didn't catch my attention so much. Expectations skyrocketed, and awaiting the next release eagerly.

Well, that was an expected ending for me at least. Reimu's not suppose to love anybody or something along the lines of that, so I always expected this route to pop up whenever I read something about Reimu. But of course, while this may be expected for me, perhaps something truely unexpected will happen later on~?
I dunno, there's something really... how should I say it? Foxy? About her face in this panel? Like, "Oh yeah. I'm on a roll!" I can't really tell what she is thinking!
But then again, this IS Yukari. We never know what she is thinking, never.
My guess: Yukari overheard the part about Reimu confessing if Cirno beats her and went: "You've gotta be kidding me!" So now she's trying to speed things up by playing the antagonist.

This kind of love story often needs a catalyst of some sort - someone or something that forces the characters to stop stalling and take action. For example, Cirno pretending to be dying in the first part, even though that got retconned.
Actually, I kinda expected Remilia to be the catalyst here, but she turned out to be too nice to confront Reimu and Cirno. I admit, though, I didn't expect Yukari to show up.

The funny part was that, in fact, she was still addressing Reimu by name, even though she forgot her own name. Something will remain of her memory... if she wasn't the puddle.

Cirno won't remember who SHE is, I didn't say she forgot about Reimu. Besides, she said "who's Cirno?". Meaning If(and a big IF) she is not dead and by some chance she know who Reimu loves she wouldn't know that it's her.

This is kinda reminding me of Night Sparrow Love, i.e. a long time beating around the damn bush.
oh ffs...I thought Yukari was going to help Cirno with a danmaku match...not blow this entire story out of the water... If you need me, I'm going to be in the corner quietly raging for the next few hours...
Hm.. Wonder if another one is planned or not? It's been a really long time since this one ended... Does anybody know if another one is actually gonna be made? Or did the remainder of the story get scrapped?
Having just finished the story thus far, and taking things for face value, I can honestly say I have never, ever hated someone, fictional or otherwise, so thoroughly, bitterly, poison-spittingly much than I hate Yukari right now.
But for the love of the series, Touhou, and even Yukari, I hope she's playing the Catalyst angle...and Dragon help her if she isn't.
