Unless a miracle or intervention happens, team marisa has 0 chances of winning against a recovered vampire and a miko with full plot armor.

That said, this is worse than the Giantesses attack. The ring is none to be found here. (And I think we deserve an explanation of Reimu's hax)

Yes, although in fairness it's not explicitly explained how, exactly, that worked, merely that she thought of something and figured the move out ahead of time. It's pretty clear that it has something to do with her incredible innate ability/talent with barriers; perhaps she's actually inverting the power of the barrier itself, causing a "snap back" or something similar, and thus effectively utilizing the full combined power of Yukari/Kanako, since IIRC they put a significantly amount of their combined strength into the ring barrier to make sure it would be 100% effective.

As someone said in that other post, this is why barrier users can be pretty ridiculous. They may lack outright raw power in some cases, but the level of h4x they can conjure up ranks up there with nearly anything.

This too. Ultimately, to a large extent Reimu is the current embodiment/champion of The System, the thing designated to maintain order and the integrity of their world. How highly that gets played up varies by story, but she has always had absolutely massive talent, and all Hakurei draw inherently upon some pretty crazy stuff. That is their raison d'etre after all. When their true instinct gets activated, it's not something to mess around with. It has always taken everything Marisa's got, and beyond (in terms of sane risk taking), just to even come close to matching up.

Well as I expected of the Hakurei miko that was a smashing finish and I agree with Marisa that (in this comic at least )she is a truly powerfull beast anyway I think we finally reached the conclucion I don't think there is much to await now.

It's not Fantasy Heaven, it's Mysterious Flying Shrine Maiden. In The Grimoire of Marisa, it's explained that she pulls that card out from an unconscious state...and anyone who's done Suika's story mode in IaMP knows how nasty that card is.

Fortunately for the kappas, it's the last match for the night.

Anyway, match is over. Unless match is declared a draw and they get different opponents, Marisa's team has 0 chance of continuing, because they sure as hell won,t get to use the same number of tricks they used against Reimu and Remilia again.

You know, there are two things to be said about the first panel.

First, we have Yukari's expression. Guess who has to fix the ring?

Second, the position of that massive splinter is quite unfortunately positioned in the background.

I see the author kept true to how Remilia's a messy eater, given all the blood around her mouth. Then again, it was more or less splashed at her.

Now then, will this become a Reimu-vs-Remilia battle?

I think it's a non-issue. If this is a Scarlet 75% win, then everyone remaining in the tournament is top-tier (with the possible exception of Sakuya).
