You're not the first person who thinks like that, but yeah. I still love his art despite that though.

This isn't exactly uncommon with commercial anime/eroge artists, though. They have to work under deadlines, so they develop character design archetypes based on what works and appeals to the fans. This means that many of their characters start suffering from the "cloning blues" in that their facial structures start looking the same with the exception of eye colours and hair styles.
