LOL! I think they're part of the series, prolly one is aimed for fangirls (cute guys+potential yaoiness) and the other for fanboys (cute girls+potential ecchi/hentainess). Which is pretty cool when you think about it...

They do look alot older then the moe swords and personally despite the potential hotness that can come with 6 male moe personas of Cloud's sword, I'm quite fond with my three adorable female personas.
