Reina Fujiwara, third child of the Akise Fujiwara family, was never meant to amount to much. Her two older brothers were heir and spare to the Fujiwara real estate empire. Her parents believed she would stand quietly in their family photos, enjoy the luxury of their wealth, and one day marry some celebrity or prince to secure them political power.

They never once thought, not until the day the Church took her away, that they had given birth to a piece of the Goddess herself.
