Have you read the manga? It really is better, I'd say. Not only for the art, but the comedy is a little more unrestrained. Mostly they are pretty close to one another, but I think the little touches here and there that the anim skips past really make a difference. The anime also seems somewhat more focused on the sis-con aspect...

And the manga isn't? Oh the lollerskates.

It may be vieled under the thin guise of comedy, but it totally doesn't change what it is.

True the manga also contains a certain semi-sexual focus on Chokoto, but as it progresses this becomes much less prevailent and ends up being limited to small bits of fanservice which are more plain loli/moe without the leaning on her relationship with her "brother". Her entire role in the manga diminishes quite a bit on the whole actually compared to the first volume.
The anime, so far, does not seem that it will steer away from the sis-kon theme...

There needs to be more Makoto hentai.
