as far as Fonts go, try Comic Sans MS. it gives a clear text and inverting it (that angled I) is good for those intense "HOLY FUCK!" moments or just moments of sheer emotion.

I could give it a look. To be honest, I hadn't considered it due to the culture of hate around it at my school (all the staff have a go at you for using it....). Thanks for the advice though

Really, no need to piss on someone who's trying to be helpful.
Yeah, this is precisely why I am doing this. There are a couple of doujins on here I would like to save but are only note-translated (which is great for on here, but not so great offline) so I am using this as practice.

comic sans isn't good to use for papers or school writing assignments but for type setting, its pretty flexible with what you want it to do and it doens't take up unneeded space. there are better texts out them im sure but its not bad for starting out with. better then arial or Times New Roman

Just taken a look at that and it seems to be a good way to go. I am going to have a mess around with a few more and see what looks best. Thanks for all the help guys!
(I'm guessing this will be deleted eventually but feel free to remove it, seeing as this is just a trial run)
If you want to start typesetting and such go here: http://www.unblessed.net/guide/main.html click on the Typesetting menu and select fonts, there are some good starter ones there. the best place to find fonts is at "dafont.com", try Anime Ace 2.0 or Laffayette comic pro.
If you really, really want to start editing and such, feel free to poke around http://voile.gensokyo.org/wakaba.html and pick up an unedited touhou doujin.
