This drawing depicts a gijinka (anime girl humanization) of the Heart of Lothar, an original weapon concept from my Doom rewrite fanfic "Day of Wrath."
Originating from a single screenshot in the earliest Doom alpha, the Heart of Lothar has been contextualized in "Day of Wrath" as a demonic superweapon comparable to Doom 3's Soul Cube or Artifact. Appearing as a beating demonic heart floating within 3 concentric spinning spiked rings, the Heart feeds on the souls of slain opponents to power up a devastating spectral projectile (which heals the user for damage done).
The Heart of Lothar's design and function was heavily inspired by the Wheel of Pain weapon from the Doom mod "Hellforged."
