The realistic satin and nylon textures of the pillows and stockings make me want to like this, but next to them her body's noticeably waxy, smooth, and hairless. Also there's some pretty cartoony outlines in there - compare how well her near stocking meets the bedspread with the unsubtle lines in the frills of her hat or her arm meeting her side.

This took forever and a day to load.

This comment's a bit long in the tooth, but I have seen women like this before. It's one of those things that they spend hours doing in the makeup department; shaving off every hair, then applying some product that adds that sheen to the skin. I've even seen a tutorial for it somewhere. Seems like a lot of effort to go through before trashing it in a porn video to me.
The shading and outlining are a bit hinky though, I'll agree. The lock of hair on her back sticks out to me. But it's still a beautiful image overall.

I personally think that anime should be more or less unrealistic. That's what I look for in anime. There's nothing inherently positive about our world. There's no good reason to just copy it, because it is like it is. And actually, people have changed the world considerably since the prehistoric times. So that it is more to their liking. In anime paintings, artists can paint whatever they want, so no reason to be realistic. Hairless, waxy, super smooth skin is sexier imo. The final goal to be achieved in the XXII century or so should to full-immersion virtual reality where you can really do whatever you want and imagine, either in "realistic" style or anime style or whatever style. In the meantime, we can paint or admire pictures or create or watch anime. Alternatively design or create video games. The prettier the better, at least for me. No need to think about how likely is something to happen on this planet in current year.
