As for Nahida you can argue he became rebellious when he got his memories back

I'm counting it like this:
1. Being thrown away by Ei which is just him misunderstanding it
2. Having his trust betrayed a 2nd time in Tatarasuna which is all Dottore's plot
3. Having a dear friend breaking the promise with him when that friend was dying already

In all 3, it was very much tragic for him, but were all him not looking for the truth or ignore the truth altogether.
Thus, 3 rebelious phases.
