It's always Beato who's out of place. I would have understood if it's a collaboration, but apparently this is just done by a single artist. An in-joke perhaps?

I'm a fan of both, so it does not matter much to me, beside, Beato can be anywhere and everywhere, just like a certain Touhou character (you know who she is)

You've also missed the part of the fact that for Umineko, this is an in continuity joke, considering that Touhou makes a VERY prominent appearance in "Banquet of the Golden Witch" through Jessica's stage costume, years before Touhou has any right to exist, after all/. And for all we know, it may actuall be legitimate, because what goes one way has a tendency of tracking back down the path it came from.

Touhou exists since 1996, Umineko since 2007....

You are missing the point. In the timeline of the series, theres a moment when theres a cosplay concert as far back as 1986, and the singers/players appear disguised as touho characters.
