Actually we could say Frederica Bernkastel is a character that actually has her origins in Higurashi no naku_koro ni (Frederica Bernkastel poems), also it is hinted that in the past she was Furude Rika, Also in "Saikoroshi-hen" Rika states, Im not the witch of Bernkastel anymore I'm Furude Rika.
