    Horns do have internal structure of bone, nerves and blood vessels inside them. While it does hold some truth that the keratinous outer layer can't experience pain, and you can't see any traces of those internal structure from the cut-off horn strewn on the floor, putting a screw that close to the growing part of the horn can't be NOT painful.

    I don't doubt she feels something, since there are "sparklines" around the handles, but with how doped up she seems, she's probably deriving pleasure from the feeling, since they're pink.

    given the name of the pool, it shouldn't matter what she's actually feeling only that it should hurt thus prompting someone to ask the question that is the name of the pool.
