ryona

A subset of sadism, depicting women mostly in extreme pain or bruising, with a particular focus on its sexualized depiction. The word originated from "猟奇(的) オナニー".

Often seen in wrestling pictures.

Not to be confused with guro. It must also not be confused with mere abuse, although some scenarios may overlap. Applies exclusively to women. For men, see reverse ryona.
