Guardmen(and women) in 40k really deserve some good vacation,consider thing that they have to fight regularly

That's what the travel time from one battle to the next is for, to get some R&R before they fight again.

...unfortunately, (poor bloody Guard) a voidship isn't usually the best place to have a vacation. Although, if you've read the Gaunt's Ghosts books, there are plenty of people there determined to make sure they have a good time...at the cost of as much of their pay as possible.
