なんかぽろぽろと見かけて面白そうだったのでやってみました。いやー描いてて滅茶苦茶楽しかったです。そういや勘違いしてる方が結構多いみたいなのですが「さとり（妖怪の）」は漢字に直すと「○：覚り　×：悟り」だったりします

The title of the book is a reference to Azumanga, if I remember correctly.

It refers to a story from the Italian novel Cuore. 3000 Leagues in Search of Mother was the title given to the 1976 Japanese adaptation of that story. The scene in Azumanga simply references that adaptation.
