    basiaclly just hidden on surface web, you'll need to know the id/link to see it etc.

    Not even that, you can just hit the "deleted" button on the left side of the page when searching to see all deleted posts that fall under that search. Deleted posts are barely hidden at all, they're just not immediately visible.

    The point of "deleting" on danbooru is to hide "poor quality" art from public view, basically like hiding the boring shit in the back of the museum and putting the popular exhibits in the front. The reason posts don't get completely removed from the site when deleted, except under special circumstances, is to prevent people from just reuploading the same image over and over again, since you can't upload exact duplicates.

    Oh, I see. Still a shame though, I think some works could benefit greatly from being visible from the start (this one is fine I guess, it's not straight from the artist. But some of Kuroba Rapid's illustration would be nice)
