A few of the posts from this pool did get translated though. Emphasis on a few.
I went on a trip to an Izu hot spring!Bunnies for the cover. There is a version with a different outfit. I thought of a bunny cosplay version with scarves but, for a cover, I decided this one fit the series better. After all, I can't draw the low-cut cleavage when they have scarves wrapped around them lol Nine months ago, I went on a trip to a hot spring in Izu! My friends and I had been planning a hot spring inn trip for a long time. On the way, we inadvertently stopped at a roadside station "Wasabi ice cream"... Huh? Wasabi ice cream? I recognized the name... Ah! They talked about this while in Amagi in Izu CampΔ volume 8!!
And a little later, there was the famous spiral bridge. I had a memory of passing by here before but that's because I was remembering when I read a YurucampΔ book with the happy-go-lucky Akari-chan lol. On this day, we stayed at a certain ryokan complete with hinoki tubs. The size of the tubs here surpassed all the others so we decided to stop searching. Many young couples came on day trips to bathe too.
The amount of food was huge and it was really tasty. The next day, we went up the Shimoda ropeway to get a view from the peak of a mountain on Inubashirijima (it was no Dog Run, of course), conquered the whole menu at a renovated restaurant (The snacks and desserts mainly. All four of us had no problem eating everything on our plates! It was all delicious!) and took a stroll along the beach on our way back.
On the way, a friend suggested that "Izu's wasabi bowl is delicious!" so we stopped to eat lunch at a certain shop... It was seriously delicious!! Their wasabi bowl was delicious... I want to eat it again... I want to eat it again... I WANT TO EAT IT AGAIN... RIGHT NOW!!
Two weeks later, a different friend wanted to go to Izu again lol. This was our second stay. The first was a coincidence and the second time was necessary for the Izu trip. We ate at a coastal eatery and the soy-boiled splendid alfonsino was delicious, so delicious... The absolute best tasting boiled food I've ever had.Izu really is huge... Forget Shimoda, I haven't even gone to all of West Izu yet. But I want to take my time doing an onsen trip someday. Ahh, but since the Camp anime is packed with content, I probably should wait a while (sweat) *I'll be back at it soonAfterwards we crossed into Amagi, and all stayed at an inn with hinoki tubs. Then, the next day, we went to Ryugukutsu Cave like Shima Rin! (we had enough time to go twice but it sure didn't look like it from how the sun was positioned.)
Ryugukutsu Cave was amazing... I worked hard, making sure I got 360° camera shots. I was able to take one from the top and bottom. We went to the nearby sand skiing place, a number of beaches, and, lastly, Bouten to eat a splendid alfonsino burger called "The Shimoda burger". Why was it so delicious!?! It combined camembert cheese and fried fish... It felt like I ate a whole fried marlin that day... So delicious lolVolume 9 will be out in a month... I'm looking forward to them continuing Izu CampΔ! I wonder if season 2 will cover Izu CampΔ? It doesn't seem like it... Maybe without Heya CampΔ? Ah, the movie... (sweat)On the way back towards Amagi, our first stop was that "wasabi ice cream" shop. I scooped myself out the same amount they drew in the original and ate both of our servings because it was more delicious than I thought it'd be. The wasabi fields on the roadside as you descend the stone stairway at Jouren Falls is a must-see.
And on our second night, we stayed at a certain inn with huge rocks and trees. For dinner that night, I had a wasabi bowl! On the way home, I went to that shop again to eat a wasabi bowl, an amago bowl and grilled amago with salt. It was so delicious... What the heck!? All I did was eat lol
Amago is a type of trout.
