and the docs will give some warning or notice to the patient that's already beginning to go over the normal average weight.

That's... not really a Japanese thing. I certainly get weighed every time I get my yearly physical. Though I've never gotten any warning seeing as I've been 195cm and about 77-79 kilos since I was like seventeen.

Getting a multi-page report where you are graded on your weight and height (and all the other markers) is something Japan does, though.
