Nitori's latest invention was something she claimed would be able to stop anyone in their tracks when used! Unfortunately, Hatate happened to overhear this when Nitori was excitedly telling Hina about it, and word spread from there.While making rounds, Aya heard it from the grape vine. Smelling a scoop, she headed on over to pay the kappa a visit.The rumor spread so fast, in fact, that even a certain fairy heard. All it took was Cirno to hear about a machine that could best anyone to egg her on. Determined to prove who the strongest was, the ice fairy dragged along the rest of her friends to investigate.Several parties convened at Nitori’s workshop, and chaos was quick to follow. During the commotion, Wriggle, separated from the rest of Team 9, along with Aya, stumbled across the very thing that brought them all there.In actuality, Nitori had simply created a fail-safe device in case anyone tried to put on one of her backpacks without her permission. The automated defense system would kick in and stop any potential thieves from taking off with them – and punish them for even thinking of committing such a crime in the first place!Taken by surprise, Aya and Wriggle found themselves unwitting test subjects when they accidentally triggered their security protocols in the prototype backpacks. With their shoes and socks slipped off, they quickly found their freshly bared feet coated with baby oil.When the antics of the rest of the nosy intruders and Nitori spilled out of the kappa’s den and out around Youkai Mountain, Aya and Wriggle found themselves left behind. As they tried - and failed - to fly away, they hoped someone would notice their absence sooner, rather than later…
