On her quest to find an opponent she could fight with all her power, Hoshiguma Yuugi has her magic and strength sealed by a girl who calls herself Hakurei.
With the information given by Hakurei, she finds the mountain-sized, continent-shaping great youkai Daidarabotchi, but loses her left forearm to Daidara's special attack "Destruction in Three Steps".However, the sealing is broken as well. She is joined by Shameimaru Aya, looking to clear her name after running away from Daidara, and Kawashiro Nitori, seeking revenge for the human Yuuka who was caught in and killed by Destruction in Three Steps.
