Double it because most Russians don't live on North Polar Circle, there are such regions as Kuban, Volga etc, which are very hot in summer and have mild winters. (Tash is Italian-born and Black Sea-deployed, so it counts for her). That's why on our trips overseas, especially to England or Japan, cold (freaking freezing in Russian standards) inside he building is rather...shocking. However, that can be countered if dressed properly.
