Maybe I've become a grumpy old man, but this thing going on with the Cartridges kinda makes me think:
"Okay! This fire is hot! It will burn you! It may cause permanent nerve damage or ruinous infection! Do not touch it!"
"Huh, I wonder if that's trueOHGODGETITOFFGETITOFF - ow! That hurt! Please give me sympathy and attention!"
Sadly yes, that's what been happening with the younger idiots and media recently. They gained a new needs called 'the need of appreciation'. Basically, the number of pageviews, likes and comments on whatever they posted would be equal to prestige, therefore even with things they know would bring harm, it's all good for the views.
I'm waiting for the day not only sites flag copyright infringement content, but they let us also flag fake news, misleading click bait phrases and Photoshoped thumbnails not matching the video content to be taken down. Now that I think about it, I'm ignoring the "recommended videos" section from now on and stick to channels I'm aware they truly talk about what they advertise.
