There's virtual youtuber now? At this rate,they'll virtualize Fuji mountain or something next month.
To be fair, Miku and the vocaloid family are Virtual Idols. Also she actually has a real voice, so it's really nothing more than just an animator and a voice actor doing their thing except on Youtube instead of an Anime episode.
I don't consider this a "Full time" virtual Idol Tuber just yet unless we get one that is also using a synthized voice like the vocaloids.
So I've watched a few of "her" videos...and surprisingly they were kind of cute and not that cringeworthy.Because if some real person(although I do know there is a real voice actor for this "virtual youtuber") youtuber's sales point is anime-type cute appeal,it would be cringeworthy as hell but being anime style character in the first place kind of helps mitigating it.I think this concept has a bit real chance of sucess unlike many other futile "virtual something" attempt.
