@MrSusher From what I've seen, the verb いれる, when applied to tea or coffee, means "to make" or "to brew". (Kanji-wise, it can be 入れる or 淹れる.) The primary verb I find for "pour" is 注ぐ.

@MrSusher You know, on further consideration, I've changed my mind to agree with your assessment. It's not the verb normally used for "pour", but based on the context of Darjeeling's earlier mishap and the fact that Pekoe's got a thermos of already-brewed tea here, that does indeed seem to be what Pekoe means to say.
