I was wondering what shenanigans those two were up to in the last picture. Akagi is ready for their punishment when they come down, I see.

Judging by the bow and arrow in her hand, I don't think Akagi is 'going' to wait for them to come down.

I would say those are sea mines (naval mines), judging by those protuberances and the spherical shape itself.
