So Tracer's confirmed gay and has a gf? Sweet! Though I imagine Widowtracer fans aren't too pleased. lol
I'm pretty sure if Widowtracer shippers weren't put off by the fact that the two really canonically don't like each other I don't think this would stop them. Plus, shippers rarely care about canon. If they revealed Mercy is afraid of sex and Pharah had a husband, Pharmercy would still be all over every fanart site in existence.
As for the reveal, it is what it is. It's not like we know much about the personal daily lives of the cast.
But as a supporter of WidowTracer shipping I am kinda sad seeing my girls is getting it on with other girls ;<
Well, you're a fan of a ship that has no real reason to exist. And that's cool, we all have that one ship in something we love that you know canonically is way bogus. But it does mean getting smacked in the face with canon ships from time to time as a result.
