    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 2205

They really did tell me this, so I was shocked. :-) I figure they could differentiate by the strength of the light or the way it scatters or similar, though. I was put out by having the explanation cut short on me, but hey, what are you going to do?

Tomorrow, things become more incomprehensible! :-)

Well duh, kogasauthor. If this thing also react to neutrino, it's basically impossible to distinguish between two verrrry inert particle with out something akin to a sciencetific god's eye.

Reader-added tags include "Please look forward to tomorrow", "Those born of the dark (matter), return to the dark (matter)", and "There are things even I don't understand...".

This survey just doesn't add up:

At what point did you stop understanding?

    • Quadratic equations
    • Trigonometric functions
    • Calculus
    • Matrices and stuff like that

Hey Moonspeaker, is translating all this science stuff any more difficult than the usual fare?

I'm familiar with some scientific terms in Japanese, but it can require a bit of research. No more so than having to look up terms for any other subject unfamiliar to me, such as the game of go or poetic terms for the seasons. (I'm looking at you, Handsome_Wataru.)

    No, we can't.
    Eh...?
    Out of Time?
    Super Kamiokande.

Ooh, question here! Do you differentiate those from the neutrino reactions?
Dark matter particles are said to exist in huge quantities in outer space...
    About 20 times per day
    The XMASS detector.
Neutrinos also react to these same atoms and emit light.
Even if you put a billion of the Earth in a row, neutrinos would pass through them.
Well, looks like Q&A time is over!
    ※As yet unobserved
    Neutrino

It measures the light emitted when these verrry occasionally collide with water molecules.
    Nonchalant
and it measures the light emitted when these verrrrrry occasionally collide with xenon electrons. (apparently)
