I'd consider Charizard the Gold/Silver partner, considering he was Ash's strongest Pokemon then at the time and was at a time he obeyed Ash's commands. Also he wasn't fully experienced as a trainer nor did he have a "strongest Pokemon" at the time and Charizard didn't obey him so I'd like to not really count the first Kanto adventure in this pic.

What no Heracross? Lycanroc? and Lucario?
