Being a mostly PC gamer, I don't get resets, but my cat sure loves jumping on the desk in the way of the monitor, and will gleefully knock the keyboard off the desk.
My cat doesn't bother me a lot when I'm gaming. Literally any other time she constantly requires attention (otherwise she'll break/damage something) but she seems perfectly content to sit on my lap while I'm playing something.

My cat EVENTUALLY gets like that. If I pet her long enough to calm down, she'll happily sleep on the pillow I throw on the desk as an armrest, and leave me alone until such time as I get up for a stretch, but it takes about 20 minutes of "I WILL NOT BE IGNORED" before she gets out of direct line of sight to the monitor.
