Especially after what he did (even if we don't get to see it) to "revive" Nemu during the Hueco Mundo arc.

He already dealt with 7 prior (though the last 6 died early)

Though it seems that the 8th Nemu has a wider range of emotions than her predecessors.

So i'm guessing that Bleach is going the "Naruto route", even though it's supposed to be over.
