Semi-officially, Hiei just likes cooking "exotic"-style curry (like that time she made Javanese style curry in the One Nao Show), whereas most Japanese folks can't handle spicy food all that well. I can imagine Hiei being able to cook up an authentic vindaloo for her sisters if she wanted to.

If she actually is going to teach her to cook, this would be the second girl that we know of that Kongou is "training." She should start a seminar.
