The way the Japanese use the loanword is more similar to how native English speakers would use "slut".

Bitch in English generally means "jerk" (a disagreeable person) or someone submissive ("John Romero's about to make you his bitch") instead. Well,

Interestingly, the historical use in English does refer to a "sexually promiscuous person". Hence son of a bitch.

Really, AssClass is one of the few Japanese works of fiction to get it right.

(It's short for concentric plug. Yes, those things aren't even concentric, but apparently they were back in those days.)

The one that always gets me is ストーブ. It's clearly an electric heater, you nitwits; stop calling it a "stove"!
