He could have moved forward while keeping the arms back and try to slip off. Ar at least struggle to rip it off. Or something. It's not like the damn thing is glued to his skin.

Maybe he can't move forward because there's an endless pit in his footing. I haven't read that manga though.

this manga is full of various "mystical games" which prevent the characters from doing things outside some limited set of actions - I wouldn't be surprised if there's something preventing him from taking off his jacket

Actually, This was in Kaiba's theme park. He was perfectly capable of escaping if he tried.

Because that copyright tag is mainly used to distinguish this series from the spinoffs. Yes, it's manga, but it's still got characters and other aspects unique to only a third of the images in the more general franchise tag.
