Officially, 9 helicopters (7 ASW, 2 SAR) are stationed onboard. Full aircraft capacity is listed somewhere in the range of 28 aircrafts, but with the lack of catapults and ski jumps, she'll probably only operate STOVL aircrafts like the V-22 or the F-35B (while the JSDF only have the F-35A variant as of now).
