    Tested, it works.
    I tried hard italian thick tubes. Soaked for almost 4 hours for sure. After draining and pouring boilin' water tubes intantly changed color, like it was freshly boiled. Taste same as "normal" way, but I forgot to add some salt. So if you used to add salt when boiling, then it make sense to add salt when pasta is soaking.

    Logically, this apply to any pasta any kind - difference is time needed to soak them.

    UPD after meal: don't just pour boiled water (it was mistake), do as pic said - boil for minute or less on stove or Microwave oven.

    Later I plan test thin spaghetti and write results here.
