Your input is appreciated, but what you added to the TN is more appropriate as just a comment.
While you may hear different elongated "o" sounds from what's romanized as "ou" versus "oo", the fact remains that neither combination is usually pronounced as a long "o" in most English words. I'm not too fond of "Kongou" visually, but it's at least a bit less likely to be pronounced as if it rhymes with "too".
Naming the puchi the same as the mothership (ba dum, tish) could cause some confusion, though. Plus losing a bit of the personality the other ones gain from having their tweaked names.
I'd actually named her with an alternate romanization, using "oh", but overlooked that Demundo had changed it to the "ou" version in addition to inserting commentary in the TN. I've reverted the note to my original edit of it.
\Deeesu!/\Buuurning Loooove!/It looks like it is a pain to control her.Seems she ended up playing too rough. Please forgive us.This girl's name is Kongoh. Such a strange creature. "Kongoo" may be a legitimate romanization choice, but it's too easy to mispronounce. They seem to be forgiving you.
How nice for you, Kongoh-chan!
