I don't think that's it... It's more like, the kid gives off a smug air. That and these two couples look pretty young so I feel like he's to immature, and it makes me frustrated to see kids being careless like that. Naturally though, women are more proficient nurturers so I feel the girl may become more dedicated, but the boy seems to still be under the blanket of adolescence, and less likely to "step up" anytime soon so to speak(I know it's alot to get from a single silhouette, but bear with me). I'm just afraid that in such a circumstance, the father will be uninvolved and it will hurt the relationships between parent-child, spouse-spouse. Were it me, I would drop most of what I did for recreation and step up to responsibility... And I'm not trying to seem like a role model, I just think since you squeezed half a life into someone else, you should understand how individual it will become one day.
Well, this is the last page of a 30 page story by Rustle called Little Girl 6. The context is that the girls are marrying each others brothers, so there will presumably be lots of support, or head cracking if he doesn't measure up. I understand what you're saying, though.
I'd post the whole thing, but as I far as I know Danbooru frowns on that- and besides, I thought it was sweet in isolation. Maybe I'll post the cover later.

Alright, glad to hear that there is at least a comforting and sweet story to this.
