Are you Spanish as well? More or less you could say it's an English translation of "Esto con Fraco-Chan no pasaba", I could also have gone with "Si Franco-Chan levantara la cabeza..."(which could stand "If Franco-Chan got back on her feet..."). Anyway, I agree that with every passing year this expression is less heard around (unless you hang near certain places), which is nice by itself.

I have heard those remarks some times, but almost always and thankfully, they were said in a joking manner. Because they do know that, in Franco's time, things like these happened. And worse of all, they happened and you didn't know about them.
