Easy, Kaito is Yandere to Tsukasa and he feel betrayed when Tsukasa said he never thought Kaito as his friend. He then pilot the Big Machine so that Tsukasa know how it feel to be betrayed.

My thought at first, until I remembered that I had paid attention to Decade's show. Then I realized that this was perfectly in character for him. Heck, remember Chou Den-O?
