Just thought I'd add a little clarity for this Pic just in case anyone concerned doesn't get what's happening.
In the game, the character in question, one Milla Maxwell, has never eaten or drunk any nourishment the way ordinary people have. This image is depicting her discovering what the aftermath of doing so is, for the first time.
I know it probably isn't something a lot of people cared about, I just thought it was important to note.

But then why an entity that doesn't require a digestive process would need to ... welp... poop?
And yes, I'm just overthinking.
she was given a humanoid figure to help mingle into society. This would including doing all human things such as eating, sleeping and such. The thing is, she always good eat food "Normally" if she wanted to, she just never had a need till the usual "bad stuff plot" stuff started happening which is where the game starts.

not exactly, she was a human child maxwell found and basically brainwashed into thinking she was the supreme spirit, and the four, ifrit, undi e, sylph and gnome did literally everything for her, from fighting to the literally mundane of bodily functions. she only becomes a spirit after the 2/3rd game plot twist that most tales games have.

damn it. The Tale's gacha game messing with my lore perception again. Also doesn't help that I don't like Xillia as much as the japanese seem to like seeing that Milia seems to always be in the top waifu votes.
