I'd say those are clothes-pegs.
Maybe she was so eager to test out her new "friend" that she snatched her drying clothes in a hurry and forgot the pegs.

They kinda look like links (or something resembling/representing them). Why they're clamped to her boobs is beyond me.

I think the link things aren't "clamped" anywhere - they're moving around. I think they're just floating icons that represent that the two of them are "linked" online somehow.

Oh, and... translation bump? The others in this series are translated, and I'd kind of like to know what this one says...

If you look closely, you can see her shirt material has lines where they, "clamp"? "Attach"? Anyway, looks like contact, to me.
