Its not the survival of the mankind as much as its the maintaining land. Last Chancers sums this up pretty well as, "Lives are replaceable, planets are not."
In the Imperial Guards defense, they are up against armies that destroy entire WORLDS at a time, so they can't really hope for much.
Stumbled onto a cloaked guardian and then vented his helmet. Makes more sense than actually sniping an invisible soldier and then making it to the body to confirm the kill before the cloak drops.
Has anyone noticed her right foot? BTW, the Ghosts wear all black fatigues and (to my knowledge) don't wear the crest armour seen here. They're scouts, not frontline infantry.

I don't see the Ghosts' Tanith pin (skull with one blade through it, as the other two were broken off). I'm removing the Tanith tag.

To be fair the Ghosts due to the higher ups hate for these guys they end up in roles far removed from their own expertise. Doesn't stop them from having Mars Pattern Adamantium balls though and kicking some serious ass.
